I’m on a meat and carbohydrate kick this week. Tonight’s dinner:
Sirloin steak with romaine lettuce salad and divine cilantro rice. I’m addicted to this rice. I couldn’t stop eating it. Adding a generous amount of sea salt to the water while the rice was simmering made a huge difference in taste. When the rice was done, I put it in a serving bowl and let it cool down. I added fresh cilantro, scallions, a few fresh chopped jalapeños, a whole squeezed lime, salt, and pepper. OMG…
I couldn’t stop eating the rice. Dangerous.
